About UK Fly Casting Sport

United Kingdom Fly Casting Sport was formed in 2017 by the West Cumbria based Masters level fly casting instructor and competitive distance caster Lee Cummings.

UK Fly Casting Sport was formed out of necessity after failed attempts to host the Fly Casting World Championships in the UK were made third time lucky when Lee was granted permission to host the 2018 World Championships Tournament.
UK Fly Casting Sport has very quickly gathered a good reputation for delivering a good service to a high standard and the 2018 World Championships was no exception.

With huge support from Mr Alfie Best, the owner of Wyldecrest Parks, UK Fly Casting Sport has been granted a home from which to operate, based at Port Haverigg Marina Village in Cumbria, an amazing venue suited perfectly to the sport of competitive casting and central to our UK casting team who range from afar as Inverness to Cornwall.
